On June 15, 2021, ENN Energy Power Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ENN Power") successfully signed a demonstration project for energy-saving transformation of coal chemical fuel gas treatment by micro-combustion engine of Xinneng Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "New Energy Company"). In the project, ENN Power provided an integrated solution of "E2100 gas turbine + waste heat boiler" system for the large amount of fuel gas discharged by ENN in the coal chemical production process, with an annual net power generation of 14.214 million kWh, an annual steam output of 60,300 tons, and a saving of 8,300 tons of standard coal, which will bring huge economic benefits to ENN Power, which is also the first breakthrough of ENN Power in the coal chemical industry.

The two sides held a signing ceremony at Xinneng Company, which was attended by Zhang Xiaoyang, Chief Engineer Li Meixi, Convenor of Technology Empowerment Group Wang Fengbin, General Manager of ENN Power, Lin Lian, Deputy General Manager, and Zhang Jingfei, Convenor of Talent Stimulation, which was presided over by Li Meixi. Xinneng Company is one of the "Top 100 Private Enterprises in Inner Mongolia" and is located in ENN Industrial Park, Dalat Banner, Ordos City. It is mainly engaged in coal-based chemical production and is a subsidiary of ENN Ecological Holdings Co., Ltd. The first phase of the coal-based low-carbon ecological recycling industry demonstration base invested and built is a methanol project with an annual output of 600,000 tons, which was officially put into operation in July 2009 and achieved production and efficiency in 2011. The second phase of the stable light hydrocarbon project with an annual output of 200,000 tons was put into operation in May 2018. The second phase of the project uses the surplus production capacity and public engineering conditions of the first phase of the project to further extend the product chain and complete the industrialization demonstration of catalytic gasification and hydrogasification technology independently developed by ENN Group.

Combined with the existing conditions of Xinneng Company, ENN Power formulates a distributed energy supply scheme with micro-combustion turbines as the main body according to local conditions, and uses the exhaust gas emitted in the production process of coal chemical products to generate power for heating, so as to realize the transformation of waste into treasure and re-creation of value. The calorific value of the fuel gas is about 7.4MJ, and the components are relatively stable. ENN Power's tailor-made cogeneration system not only improves the comprehensive energy utilization rate, but also reduces the electricity consumption and coal burning indicators of Xinneng Energy, so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving, emission reduction and carbon reduction, and realize the circular economy.

The core equipment used in this project is the first megawatt-level product launched by ENN Power in the field of small gas turbines after years of technical precipitation in the field of micro gas turbines. The E2100 series gas turbine adopts a single-stage centrifugal compressor, four single-cylinder combustion chambers and a two-stage axial turbine. In terms of circulation form, the E2100 series gas turbine has two types: simple cycle and heat recovery cycle, and the reheat recuperator adopts an external scheme, with thermoelectric ratio adjustable technology, which can flexibly adjust the ratio of output heat energy and electrical energy. Based on the strong thermoelectric ratio adjustment ability, the E2100 series gas turbine can be flexibly configured and operated according to the actual needs and energy consumption characteristics of customers, and its application scenarios are wider, and can be widely used in industrial park distributed energy supply, commercial public construction distributed energy supply, renewable fuel utilization, oil and gas industry, special power supply and other fields. In addition, the E2100 series gas turbine also has the advantages of large flow, high energy efficiency and low emissions, and will give full play to the maximum energy-saving potential of the whole system after it is put into operation.

The signing of the project fully demonstrates ENN Power's comprehensive strength in the chemical field, opens up a new direction for energy conservation and efficient utilization of fuel gas, and will further improve ENN Power's overall energy supply level in the fine chemical industry, enrich industry solutions, and contribute to the "dual control" of energy consumption.
