On the afternoon of May 14, 2021, Qingdao ENN Jiaocheng Energy Pressure Energy Comprehensive Utilization Project was successfully signed at the Lingang Base of ENN Energy Power Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ENN Power"). It marks the first breakthrough of ENN Power products in the field of differential pressure power generation technology, helping Qingdao ENN Jiaocheng Gas Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiaocheng Gas") to fully open the era of green power generation of clean energy utilization.

Wang Limin, general manager of ENN Power, Dong Jiaqiu, No. 1 of Jiaocheng Gas and team partners attended the signing ceremony. The two sides had in-depth exchanges at the signing ceremony, and fully communicated and reached an agreement on the project implementation progress, personnel organization arrangements, safety measures and coordination matters to ensure the smooth development of the project. He said that carbon peaking work is one of the eight key tasks of the central economic work in 2021. Jiaocheng Gas will rely on ENN Power technology to accelerate the work of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality", strive to be a model of low-carbon development in the industry and region, and contribute to the country's dual carbon goal. Mr. Dong also said that this cooperation is a good start and will pave the way for more cooperation between the two sides in the later stage.

After natural gas is extracted, it generally needs to be transported over long distances through special pipelines to reach the city, and finally enter thousands of households and production enterprises. Under normal circumstances, in the process of natural gas transportation, in order to save investment in pipelines, high-pressure transportation is usually used. Before high-pressure natural gas enters the urban gas transmission and piping network, it needs to be reduced to meet industry standards. In this process of pressure reduction, the loss of pressure is actually the loss of energy. If the working principle of the expander is used in this process, the energy contained in it can be converted into electrical energy while achieving pressure reduction, creating economic value.
Combined with the natural gas pressure difference and gas volume of Jiaocheng Xinaomen Station, ENN Power uses a turbo expansion generator set NGDPE300 (rated power of 322kW), an ice making system, an auxiliary reheating system, a gas station and other system equipment to recover the huge pressure energy contained in the process of high-pressure natural gas pressure regulation, convert it into electrical energy, and use the cold energy after natural gas expansion power generation to make ice, build a natural gas differential pressure power generation system, and greatly improve energy utilization efficiency. The project is expected to generate 850,000 kW·h of electricity per year, produce 9,450 tons of ice per year, reduce carbon emissions by 358 tons/year, and the whole process does not consume fuel, which has significant economic benefits, which can produce huge economic and social benefits for the natural gas industry, and is also the green power generation technology promoted by ENN Power.
The signing of this project has laid a solid foundation for ENN Power to develop the differential pressure power generation market, and will also further improve the overall comprehensive energy utilization level of ENN Power in the energy industry and enrich industry solutions.
