The foundation stone of ENN Power Gas Turbine Development Base was laid
On October 17, ENN Energy Power Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ENN Power") held a grand groundbreaking ceremony for the gas turbine development base in the Lingang New Area of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, which is the first industrial land that has been successfully delisted after the establishment of the Lingang New Area. It means that ENN Power has taken a milestone step in the R&D and industrial manufacturing process of serial gas turbines.
Jiang Yiren, former chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Shou Ziqi, director of the Shanghai Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, Wu Xiaohua, full-time deputy director of the Management Committee of Lingang New Area, Weng Kaining, vice president of Lingang Group, Yu Guosheng, president of Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics, Zhu Ningning, vice president, Wang Yusuo, chairman of the board of directors of ENN Group, and other leaders and guests attended the ceremony.
ENN Power Gas Turbine Development Base is located in the south of Lingang New Area, with a total construction area of 37,359.93 square meters, a construction period of about 24 months, and an investment of 450 million yuan, which will be used for the research and development of serial gas turbines and the industrial manufacturing of 600kW and 1.5MW gas turbines, with an annual output of up to 1,000 units after production.
Wang Yusuo, chairman of the board of directors of ENN Group, expressed his deep gratitude at the groundbreaking ceremony for the strong support given by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Management Committee of Lingang New Area to ENN Micro and small gas turbine research and development in terms of talents, market, innovation environment and other aspects, and praised the Lingang New Area for accelerating.
Chairman Wang Yusuo said that ENN takes the creation of a modern energy system as its mission, and micro and small gas turbines are a very important part of the modern energy system. ENN promises that in the future, ENN Power will give full play to its R&D advantages, carry out serial research and development, strive to achieve the world level of gas turbines, build a world-class R&D base and a full-process intelligent manufacturing production base, help Lingang New Area become an "international intelligent manufacturing city" supported by world-class advanced manufacturing industry clusters, and polish the "crown jewel" of the equipment manufacturing industry to provide new momentum for national development.
In 2016, President Xi Jinping issued instructions and requirements to "accelerate the independent research and development, manufacturing and production of aero engines and gas turbines", and ENN responded to the call, took technology as the traction, continued technological innovation, and successfully industrialized scientific and technological achievements.
As the core energy equipment manufacturer of ENN Group, ENN Power has successfully developed a 100kW gas turbine (E100) with completely independent intellectual property rights, applying advanced technologies such as high-speed motors and air bearings, and its overall performance has reached the international advanced level, becoming the only product that can be commercially operated among domestic manufacturers, filling the domestic gap. At the same time, other series of gas turbines are also under development, among which the 300kW power level gas turbine (E300) has completed the performance commissioning of the whole machine, entered the project demonstration stage, and was selected as the first batch of gas turbine innovation demonstration projects announced by the National Energy Administration on October 9. The gas turbine with 600kW power level (E600) and 1.5MW power level (E1500) has completed the preliminary design of the product.
