At 15:30 on February 27, 2020, ENN Power's self-developed E100RR micro gas turbine unit successfully passed the 72-hour continuous full-load operation assessment, which marks that the E100RR micro-combustion unit has the conditions for project demonstration.

E100RR is a coaxial inspired integrated high-speed motor micro-combustion unit developed by ENN Power on the basis of E100 micro-combustion unit, which is a major upgrade of ENN Power's existing micro gas turbine technology, and its core is high-efficiency micro-combustion turbine technology and high-speed motor technology. E100RR micro-combustion turbine has three significant advantages: First, the efficiency has been significantly improved. Replacing the gas turbine bearing with a high-speed rolling bearing with less power consumption has increased the power generation efficiency of the unit by 2%; second, the volume and weight of the unit have been greatly reduced. The E100RR micro-combustion unit upgrades the reduction gearbox, starter motor and conventional generator of the E100 micro-combustion unit to an inspired integrated high-speed motor coaxial with the gas turbine, which has the advantages of small size, high efficiency and high power density, which reduces the volume of the whole unit by 45% and the weight by 50%; third, it can realize variable speed and load reduction operation, improve the efficiency of the unit when running at medium and low loads, and further expand the scope of application of the micro-combustion unit.
