From micro to small, ENN Power gas turbine power breakthrough - E2000 small gas turbine to achieve rated power operation

At 16 o'clock on July 22, 2020, ENN Power's first megawatt small gas turbine E2000 successfully completed the core machine bench loading test. At an ambient temperature of 31°C on the same day, the output power of the simple cycle core machine was 1.7MW, and the converted standard power was 2MW, and the power and efficiency of the gas turbine successfully met the design requirements, marking a more solid step in the development of serial micro gas turbines.

The E2000 series gas turbine adopts a heat recovery cycle design, but the recuperator is external, which has great flexibility in disassembly and assembly, so it includes two models: simple cycle rated power 2MW, steam output 8 tons/hour; the rated power of the heat recovery cycle unit is 1.8MW, the power generation efficiency is 33.1%, and the power generation efficiency of the heat recovery unit is at the advanced level of the industry in this power level.

The research and development of E2000 gas turbine fully draws on the successful experience of E100 and E300, implements the R&D system formed by summarizing past experience, and adopts the modular design concept, and shortens the design cycle to 4 months. The core engine debugging work reached the rated power operation with only two core machines and 3 months of commissioning time, successfully recovering the progress delayed by the epidemic, and successfully achieving the model phased goal. The early realization of the phased goal is not only an affirmation of the team's cohesion and combat effectiveness, but also shows that the ability level of the ENN power model R&D project team has been significantly improved and the R&D system has been fully verified after the experience of multiple models, which has also laid a solid foundation for the subsequent development of higher-power products.

E2000 series small gas turbines have the advantages of compact structure, high efficiency, low emissions, better economy, and wider application scenarios, and are widely used in industrial park distributed energy supply, commercial and public construction distributed energy supply, renewable fuel utilization, oil and gas industry, special power supply and other fields. Up to now, this model has received intentional orders from many customers. The project team will continue to work hard to complete the commissioning of the demonstration machine before the end of the year and deliver it to customers for demonstration operation.
